Contribute to Sonic City

We are looking for different kinds of audio material for the Sonic City collection. As well as any recordings people may already have, we want people to share their personal recollections in the form of short anecdotes, memories and stories. From the ordinary to the extraordinary all are welcome and we believe that people of all ages, every community and all walks of life have something to say. Any contributions added to this website are also available for use by the Leeds City Museum, local broadcasters, radio producers and artists. We will digitise them, add the material to the website and of course, return your original recording to you. See contact page for address. The Sonic City project regularly organises collection sessions at local libraries, museums, schools and other community venues.
